This past weekend, the team from NV Performance headed down to the Mother City for the highly anticipated Race SA event in Cape Town — and what a weekend it was. Cape Town once again delivered the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable motorsport experience, bringing together some of South Africa’s fastest builds, passionate enthusiasts, and top performance brands.
From the moment the gates opened, the atmosphere was electric. The sound of high-performance machines echoed through the venue as competitors and spectators gathered to witness some of the country’s most impressive cars go head-to-head. NV Performance proudly represented the BMW performance scene, showcasing the power, dedication, and engineering excellence that the brand has become known for.
Our team spent the weekend connecting with supporters, clients, and fellow petrolheads who share the same passion for speed and innovation. Leading the charge for the NV Performance team together with The 357 , Strada Performance and 5150 Autosport was Neval Kanjee, who delivered a record-breaking performance in his S58-powered ” Bully ” . After an intense day of racing and pushing the limits, Neval officially remains the holder of the title of the Fastest BMW in South Africa — a massive achievement for both the driver and the entire NV Performance , 357 , Strada Performance and 5150 Autosport Team .
The success did not stop there. Neval also walked away with the prestigious Fastest Car of the Day award, cementing NV Performance’s place at the top of the South African performance scene. Competing against some of the country’s most powerful builds, the team showcased not only outright speed, but also the reliability, precision, and engineering excellence that NV Performance is known for.
