South Africa’s Fastest BMW Delivers at Race SA

The NV Performance team travelled to Cape Town for the highly anticipated Race SA event at the legendary Killarney International Raceway—and the results spoke for themselves.

As one of South Africa’s premier motorsport venues, Killarney brought together some of the country’s fastest builds, leading performance brands and most passionate motorsport enthusiasts for an unforgettable day of racing.

From the moment the gates opened, the atmosphere was electric. The sound of high-performance machines echoed across the venue as competitors prepared to go head-to-head on the strip.

NV Performance proudly represented the BMW performance community, showcasing the power, precision and engineering excellence that have become synonymous with the brand.

A Record-Breaking Performance

Leading the charge was Neval Kanjee in his S58-powered BMW, affectionately known as “Bully.”

Representing NV Performance alongside The 357, Strada Performance and 5150 Autosport, Neval delivered a record-breaking performance after an intense day of racing and pushing the car to its limits.

By the end of the event, Neval had successfully retained the title of the Fastest BMW in South Africa—a remarkable achievement for both the driver and every member of the team involved in developing the car.

The result represents countless hours of preparation, testing and refinement behind the scenes.

Fastest Car of the Day

The success did not end with the BMW record.

Neval also walked away with the prestigious Fastest Car of the Day award, further cementing the team’s position at the forefront of South Africa’s performance scene.

Competing against some of the most powerful builds in the country, Bully demonstrated more than outright speed. The car showcased the reliability, precision and engineering required to perform consistently under demanding racing conditions.

These achievements are never the result of a single run. They are built through careful preparation, collaboration and an unwavering commitment to performance.
