As you guys know we have started our development on the S58 platform. We have done many of these vehicles by using a JB4. When it come to BMW,s that came of the factory floor after June 2020 , these ECUs have been unlocked. Currently the only company in the world that can unlock these ECUs is based in Finland . We got to work with removing the ecu and having it safely shipped to finland to be unlocked. This whole process takes about 2 weeks
Needless to say we were super excited to receive the ECU back and start tuning this G80 M3 . With doing alot of research around the world we already knew the gains would be phenomenal VS a JB4 car. This specific car was tuned using the Bootmod platform . While we waited for the ECU to return our partner Strada performance fitted the vehicle with a full valvetronic Strada exhaust system. As you can imagine this car sounded insane. The guys at the 357 then fitted the Project Gamma front mount intakes and a flex fuel fit
We then got down to custom tuning this G80 M3 , and all i say say i WOW. The car had really transformed into a different beast . It just makes power from any RPM in any gear and puts you back into your seat . We have also flashed the gearbox with an XHP flash to cope with the extra HP . In full street trim we managed to run a 10.1 on the streets of JHB . Now lets think about this ……… this car can run a low 10 sec pass from any robot at any given time at thats in JHB. it will be an easy 9 sec car at the coast with minimal mods . The G series M3/M4 is going to be a serious contender on any drag strip. Keep your eyes peeled for our inhouse M3 that we will be starting with shortly
