The Eventuri VW MK8 Golf R / Clubsport Black Carbon Intake System is a complete, ground-up induction upgrade engineered to maximize airflow efficiency while maintaining consistently low intake air temperatures. Drawing from the engineering principles developed through Eventuri’s highest-performing turbocharged platforms, this system delivers the airflow capacity required for everything from stock vehicles to aggressively tuned builds running hybrid or full-frame turbochargers.

Unlike partial upgrades that retain restrictive factory components, the Eventuri system replaces the entire intake tract from the airbox to the turbo inlet. Every element has been carefully optimized to provide the turbocharger with a smooth, uninterrupted airflow path, reducing restriction and improving throttle response across the rev range. The factory 73mm inlet tube is upgraded to a substantially larger 94mm diameter, allowing the turbo to draw a greater volume of air with reduced effort.

At the core of the system is Eventuri’s patented carbon Venturi filter housing, designed to maximize internal volume within the tight packaging constraints of the MK8 engine bay. Paired with a large bespoke dry cone filter measuring 192mm (7.5″) and offering over 110,000 mm² of filtration surface area, the intake supports exceptional airflow while maintaining clean, laminar flow characteristics.

The carbon fiber inlet duct fully seals against the front slam panel to channel ambient air directly into the filter housing. An additional secondary opening positioned behind the hood line further increases cold air supply, providing the equivalent airflow of an additional 7-inch diameter inlet. This dual-feed configuration ensures a steady source of cool air even under sustained load, allowing the system to outperform the factory airbox without suffering from heat soak.

The result is a refined yet highly capable carbon intake system that enhances throttle response, supports increased power output, and delivers a more pronounced induction sound while maintaining OEM-level fitment and reliability.
